1 ½cupsapples, peeled and choppedsuch as Granny Smith
1cupbrown sugar, packed
½cupapple juice
1teaspoonground ginger
1teaspoonground cinnamon

Instructions
Combine all of the ingredients in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is thickened. Remove from the heat and allow to cool for a few minutes. It will continue to thicken as it cools.
Transfer the sauce to a dish. Cover and refrigerate until completely cool.

Refrigerate for 5-7 days or freeze for 3-4 months.
